Music seems to be a soul to human’s life. Over the years, people are familiar with different music as the custom of their life. Currently, it is indicated that there are sort of music in the world. One question remains, why do people need music? On the whole, besides it can entertain the listener, the music can also identify who the people are. Then, music becomes an inspiration for people to spend their life time. As whole, music can be distinguished, traditional and international music.
Recently, traditional and international music enchanted many people. Traditional music comes from the culture of some society then they interpret the music through culture too. The traditional music has certain characteristic that represent their culture. For instance, in Aceh that has authentic traditional music that represents the Aceh itself, like Rapai. Traditional music is an essential will to people itself, so that many people in certain culture strive to maintain it. Because traditional music is seems to be symbol to the people. On the other hand, international music is an enjoyable entertainment known by many people. Essentially, there are kinds of international music and everyone in the world has his own favorite genre. However, it is said that sometimes some of international music influence bad manners to the personality. It is not authentic anymore and looks like just for fun. Because of that, traditional music is more important than international music.
In conclusion, whatever the kind of music, it has certain aspect to influence the people. People love music, even without music the people feels empty because it makes life become a life.
